CineMedia Film AG

With the newest technology into the digital future of film.

As a leader in media services, the CineMedia Group creates touching moments for moviegoers and television viewers. Using creative resources and the newest technology, CineMedia Film AG develops services for the movies and television of tomorrow.

Even at the inception of the film, Geyer-Werke and today’s CinePostproduction Group, which belong to CineMedia Film AG, have laid the foundation for the post-production service industry with machines and processes they developed themselves. The technology, the creative possibilities, and the job descriptions have changed, but the fascination remains. Today, the corporation offers media services with the most modern digital technology throughout the film laboratory, digital lab, HD post-production in the high-definition television format HDTV, and sound editing. Even while filming, CineMedia Film AG is present with light, camera, and sound technology for film and TV productions, which likewise showcase events for industry and commerce. Approximately 400 employees work at the subsidiaries CinePostproduction and Licht & Ton for customers in film, television, advertising, industry, and commerce – from classical Film Specialists, Visual Effects Artists, and Sound Professionals to Event Coordinators – in the media locations of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.

Whether for cinema, television, DVD and new digital formats – the design possibilities in post-production are as diverse as the creative ideas of the filmmakers. CineMedia Film AG works independently of format and combines decade-long technical film know-how with the creative techniques of digital picture composition. This technical film knowledge and the mastery of the new digital techniques is the premise on which producers today use the full scope of digital picture com-position and can also market their high-quality film productions internationally. At the same time, these technologies are the basis for HDTV and the digital cinema. The challenges of tomorrow demand the forging of new paths in the editing, provision, and archiving of media productions. The company develops services together with renowned partners in research and industry that increase productivity, quality, and creativity in film and TV production – for the movies and television of tomorrow.

CineMedia Film AG stocks have been traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since February 3, 1999. During the first quarter of 2007, the share price has nearly doubled in comparison to the average share price of the previous year.
