Even at the inception of the film, Geyer-Werke and today’s CinePostproduction Group, which belong to CineMedia Film AG, have laid the foundation for the post-production service industry with machines and processes they developed themselves. The technology, the creative possibilities, and the job descriptions have changed, but the fascination remains. Today, the corporation offers media services with the most modern digital technology throughout the film laboratory, digital lab, HD post-production in the high-definition television format HDTV, and sound editing. Approximately 400 employees work at the subsidiaries CinePostproduction and Licht & Ton for customers in film, television, advertising, industry, and commerce – from classical Film Specialists, Visual Effects Artists, and Sound Professionals to Event Coordinators – in the media locations of Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, and Munich.

CineMedia Film AG stocks have been traded on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange since February 3, 1999. During the first quarter of 2007, the share price has nearly doubled in comparison to the average share price of the previous year.
